Frequently asked questions
Short answers. Ask anything else in the Discord.
What is Nomans?
Nomans is a long-term legit anarchy survival server for Minecraft Java. It is vanilla survival with factions: no rules except no hacks, and the world never resets.
What is the server IP?
The server address is practically-swerve.tun.ply.gg. Use Minecraft Java Edition 26.3.
Which Minecraft version do I need?
Java Edition release 26.3. No mods are needed.
Is it free?
Yes. There is no shop and nothing pay-to-win.
Is it really anarchy?
Yes. Griefing, raiding, killing, stealing and betrayal are all allowed. The only thing that isn't: hacked clients and exploits.
How do factions work?
Factions live in our Discord. Start one with /faction create or apply to one with /faction apply. Every faction gets private channels, ranks and its own rules page.
Do I need the Discord to play?
No. You can play solo without it. Factions, events and border news live in the Discord, so most players join it.
Will the world reset?
No. The map stays. The border only grows.
How big is the world?
The world border starts at 5,000 by 5,000 blocks and grows as the server does.
Can Bedrock or cracked accounts join?
No. Java only, with real Minecraft accounts.
What happens if I get flagged by the anti-cheat?
A human looks at the evidence before anything happens. Lucky miners don't get banned by a robot.
Is spawn safe?
No. Everyone passes through spawn. Pick a road, keep walking and build far out.
