The lore
The story of this place is written in the four corners of the cloister at spawn. Here it is, for those who haven't walked it yet.
I. The Four Crowns
Four kingdoms once met at this crossroads. Varn of iron to the north. Ashara of the sun to the east. Thal of the tides to the south. Kael of embers to the west. Between them lay a strip of sand none would give up. They called it No Man's.
II. The War
For a hundred years the four crowns fought over the crossroads. When it ended, there was no winner. No soldiers came home. One by one, the four kingdoms fell silent.
III. The Citadel
Travelers found this citadel standing where nothing stood the night before. No one saw it built. No one knows who keeps it.
IV. No Man's
Claim what you can. Hold what you take. This land belongs to no one. Not even to you.
The lost kingdoms
The old kingdoms lie in ruins out in the wild. Find one before anyone else does. Claim it, strip it, or burn it.
